A car porch covers a wide area, so wind puts real pressure on it. We use a strong steel gauge for the frame so the structure does not shake in the wind, and the pillars are set in concrete foundations instead of being fixed lightly to the floor. The sheet is given a correct slope so rainwater drains to one side instead of collecting on top. These three things are what separate a porch that lasts from one that rattles and leaks.
A porch is a large structure at the front of your home, so it should not look out of place. We match the design to your house — the shape of the frame, the sheet colour and the overall style are discussed during the free site visit before fabrication starts. If your main gate or boundary grill was also made by us, the porch can be designed to sit comfortably with that work, giving the whole front a consistent look.
